Vermont and New York were the sites of some note worthy Colchester wrestling action this past weekend. CHS senior Justin Lafayette, in what was and will be the hardest tournament he will compete in this season, placed third in an overcrowded twenty man bracket at Vergennes High School. Facing competitors from N.Y.’s Section 7 and local Vermont teams, Lafayette picked up four wins, finishing with a semi final loss.

Noah Quigley continued his strong run in 2018 with a first place win, followed by Justin Mulac in second and Cam Katon in third.
Across the lake in Glens Falls, N.Y. a few Cobras celebrated their victories. Cahota Lafond and Brody Coppins brought home first place accolades, followed by Jaden Coppins with a well-earned second place.
