Colchester Food Shelf (outside)

The Colchester Community Food Shelf is located at 245 Main St., in the old fire station in the village of Colchester.

COLCHESTER — With cold weather coming soon, the Colchester Food Shelf is providing winter coats to residents in need.

A rack of coats will be available for browsing for the next several weeks during the shelf's open hours.

Those visiting the food shelf for the first time or those who haven't visited in 2021 will need to show proof of Colchester residency with a utility or other bill or a mortgage or lease agreement.

11/1/21 9:30 a.m. Correction: A previous version of this article said the colchester food shelf was taking coat donations. This was an error and it is not.
