The Colchester High School (CHS) bass fishing team took on 15 schools in the Vermont State Classic tournament and defended their 2018 Vermont State Bass Fishing Champions title. There were 30 boats in the competition and Colchester’s two boats placed first and sixth. Their bag of six fish weighed in at 21.19 pounds. Andrew Ianni finished second in the smallmouth “Lunker” category, with his catch weighing in a 4.5-pound “smalley.”

The team included Kai Sweeten, Mason Bedard, Hunter Baker, Caleb Kirby, Andrew Ianni, Hunter Navari, Riley Breen and Brandon Couture.
