Laker wrestlers Jacob Ring and Thomy Mwali gave their opponents a noteworthy workout at the Milton Junior High/JV tournament Saturday. Jacob pulled in a second place victory and Thomy, in his tournament debut, caught the attention of everyone on the mats with his remarkable speed.
Junior high first places were earned by Jordan Lavoie, Cam Katon, Luke Doloughty; all 3 boys won by pins in all matches. Second place went to Jaden Coppins, Tyler Mott and Graham Resmer. Grey Brown took third.
This coming weekend will see the Laker boys competing in the two day Middlebury Classic
and the junior high team will travel to Shenendahowa, N.Y.
