The holidays are times for joy, togetherness, celebration and merriment. But for some of us, the holidays throw our emotions into turmoil. If you suffered a loss through death, divorce, down-sizing, or estrangement, the holidays do note evoke the happy, joyful feelings we see expressed in TV ads, print ads, over the radio, or even just among our friends and family.

St. Andrews Episcopal church offers a Blue Christmas service to help process our mixed feelings as well as to acknowledge the causes for our lack of holiday spirit and to heal risour brokenness and suffering during what should be a time of celebration.

Anyone, regardless of religious affiliation or non-affiliation, is invited to attend this service and participate in an opportunity to address our feelings of grief, loss, anger, frustration, or whatever you may feel the need to heal. This is a safe space to experience validation and receive support and comfort.
