COLCHESTER – It is with great sadness that the family of Vickie C. Billado (Hathaway), age 64 and a lifetime resident of Colchester, announce her passing on the evening of March 16, 2018 at the McClure VNA Respite House surrounded by her family. Vickie was born in Burlington to Charles and Leola Hathaway on Sept. 29, 1953. Vickie and her late Husband Greg Billado (the love of her life) owned and operated the family business of Greg’s Trucking in Colchester for over 20 years. She enjoyed planting flowers, decorating for holidays and traveling.

Vickie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Michael (his wife, Katina), Kenneth (Melissa), Cindy (Rick) and their families. She will be fondly remembered by her seven grandkids Michael Jr., Alex, Shyla, Morgan, Brandon, Savannah, Autumn and one great-grandchild Ava. Along with her five siblings (Ronald, Linda, Karen, Tina and John) and their families.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her caretakers at the McClure VNA Respite House in Colchester who helped her have a better quality of life. She was a loving, fiery, sarcastic and strong-willed woman that had a mind of her own that wanted to always do things her way.
Graveside service will be held at the convenience of Vickie’s family in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colchester.
