The Colchester Parks & Recreation Department would like to send a huge thank you to all of our Colchester Youth Basketball volunteer coaches, officials and participants in our most successful season to date.

Colchester Youth Basketball had over 287 youth participants from kindergarten – eighth grade compete and develop in our program, and we saw incredible improvements in skill development, basketball understanding and confidence. We had over 50 volunteer coaches that gave their time and energy to our basketball program in Colchester to create an amazing experience for our players.

In our Grades 5-8 level, we had a 5/6 boys and girls team win the State Recreation Basketball Tournaments this year, and a 7/8 boys team make the semifinals.

To all who gave their time, effort and hard work, thank you for another successful year. We cannot run a league of this size without each of you, and we are excited to see the improvements our players made this year. You make a difference and your commitment to the program is crucial as we continue to grow a basketball legacy in Colchester.

See you all next season, and thanks again for all the amazing memories in 2018!
