A Colchester native was one of 17 St. Michael’s College women’s hockey players named All-Academic selections.
Nicole Talcott, a Rice graduate, grabbed her initial All-Academic reward in the New England Hockey Conference.
The 17 selections is a St. Michael’s school record for number of qualifiers, breaking last year’s mark of 16. Thirteen of the selections have now been recognized on multiple occasions.
To be eligible for the award, members of NEHC ice hockey programs must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and complete at least one academic year at their institution.
