After 110 events spread over two full days of swimming last weekend at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center, the EDGE Swim Club took first in the state championships, scoring 4,202 points — just over 1,400 more than second-place Town of Essex Swim Team.

The team boasts a handful of Colchester residents, including Madison and Alexis Dutton, Kaylee and Madison Dye, Olivia and Andrew Rosato, Ava Davis-Bailey and Jennifer Davis.

Andrew Rosato was part of both the boys 14U 4×200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay teams, both of which raced to first-place finishes.

Twenty teams participated in the event.
