The Colchester Selectboard underwent a small governance shake-up last Wednesday after members met for the first time since Town Meeting Day elections.

Selectman Herb Downing moved to reappoint Nadine Scibek as chairwoman, but to name Tom Mulcahy vice-chairman and Jeff Bartley clerk. Previously, Downing served as vice-chairman of the board, Mulcahy the clerk. The motion was unanimously approved.

Jacki Murphy, former director of admissions at St. Michael’s College, was sworn in to her new post a few days before Wednesday’s meeting. Murphy replaced longtime selectman Marc Landry who did not seek re-election this year.

The board agreed to continue meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the Outer Bay Conference Room on the third floor of the town offices at 781 Blakely Rd.
