Vermont State Police arrested a Colchester woman last weekend on seven violations, including possession of heroin, a press release said.

Around 1 a.m. last Sunday, police say they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Interstate 89 north for multiple motor vehicle violations near the Winooski River Bridge. A pursuit ensued when Kylee Raduechel, 29, tried to flee.

Chittenden County sheriffs and police from Colchester, Burlington, Shelburne, South Burlington, Williston and Winooski assisted in the pursuit, which began in Colchester and ended in South Burlington, VSP said.

Further investigation revealed Radeuchel was in possession of heroin, in violation of her conditions of release and under the influence of alcohol, the release said.

The Colchester woman also faces violations of gross negligent operation, attempting to elude police, resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an incident, police said.

Raduechel was transported to the Williston state police barracks for processing and was later taken to the Chittenden Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail, the release said.

Raduechel’s passenger, Bryant McCray, was also transported to the correctional facility, police said, after they found he had five active warrants for his arrest.
