Eighth-grader Noah Quigley defended his 2017 title by placing first again in Barre on February 17. Also placing at the middle school level were (1) Cam Katon, (4) Luke Doloughty and (5) Grey Brown.

This past weekend was a busy one for the youth team. 15 wrestled at Springfield ‘s Sweizer Memorial tournament in a field of 250 other boys and girls. Wearing a champion shirt at the end of day were Shay Prouty, Graham Resmer and Cam Katon. Second place medals were awarded to Cruz Haran, Jake Marchessault, Ivy Resmer, Tanner and Sawyer Prouty and Jordan Lavoie. Finishing up in third place were Tyler Mott and Luke Doloughty. Brandon Marchessault, Grey Brown and Noah Quigley also competed.

While these Cobras were competing in Vt., three other members were headed to the King of the Mat competition in Saco, Maine. Placing first by winning the super match, and taking home the belt, was Cahota Lafond. Brody and Jaden Coppins found themselves in respectable third and fifth place finishes.
