The Colchester Cobras hit the road last week, stopping in for four wrestling tournaments throughout the state and beyond.

Jordan Lavoie, Cam Katon, Keegan Vance, Nick Forguites, Cahota Lafond and Sawyer Prouty fought their way to first and second place trophies during a pit stop in Saratoga Springs.

Meanwhile, Hunter Gauthier represented the Cobras up north, taking first and second place in the Northeast Kingdom’s Python Tournament.

Noah Quigley added to the success with a four-for-four pin day at Vergennes High School, dominating his weight bracket en route to a first-place finish.

Sunday found much of the same during the Battle for the Belt in Burnt Hills, N.Y.

Brody Coppins and Forguites nabbed first-place belts while Lafond took third and fourth.

“We are proud of all our competitors,” said team manager Holly Lavoie.
